REFUND & CANCELLATION POLICY

This Refund & Cancellation Policy (“Policy”) is a binding component of the Terms & Conditions of CODING WITH SAGAR, a training and placement assistance academy operated under SKYUP MARKETING, a sole proprietorship registered in Madhya Pradesh, India.

By enrolling in any program, you agree to abide by the conditions set forth in this Policy. This Policy has been structured in accordance with:

  • Section 2(1)(r) and Section 18(2) of the Consumer Protection Act, 2019

  • Section 73 and 74 of the Indian Contract Act, 1872

  • Information Technology (Intermediary Guidelines and Digital Media Ethics Code) Rules, 2021

  • RBI guidelines regarding digital payments, reversals, and service disputes


1. General Refund Principle

CODING WITH SAGAR follows a “Service Accountability Standard”, meaning refunds are provided only when there is a failure on our part to deliver core services paid for.

Refunds are NOT provided in cases where:

  • The student fails to meet academic performance or participation standards

  • The student defaults on EMI

  • The student voluntarily drops out

  • The student does not get placed despite assistance (final hiring is company-dependent)

This model complies with Indian consumer law provided that:

  • Policies are disclosed before purchase

  • Acceptance of terms is recorded (digitally)


2. Services Covered

This Policy applies to:

  • Paid short-duration workshops

  • Long-duration career programs

  • Placement assistance services

  • Certification modules (live or recorded)


3. Refund Eligibility (Strict Conditions)

A full refund is applicable ONLY if all conditions are met:

  • CODING WITH SAGAR fails to provide access to the enrolled program, AND

  • CODING WITH SAGAR fails to initiate placement assistance (no interview/referral provided), AND

  • The issue is reported via email within 10 calendar days

👉 All conditions must be met together.

Refunds (if approved) will be processed within 15 business days via the original payment method.


4. Refund Not Applicable

a. Performance-Based Exclusions

  • Less than 75% attendance

  • Less than 60% in assessments

  • Missed interviews/mocks without valid reason

  • Failure to clear interviews


b. EMI Defaults

  • Access will be revoked if EMI is not paid

  • No refunds applicable

  • CODING WITH SAGAR is not responsible for EMI provider disputes


c. Voluntary Withdrawal

  • No refund if student withdraws

  • Non-usage ≠ cancellation


d. Change of Mind

  • No refunds after access is granted

  • Follows standard e-learning policies


5. Partial Refunds

CODING WITH SAGAR does NOT provide partial refunds for:

  • Mid-course dropouts

  • Missed sessions

  • Unused content


6. Refund Claim Process

To request a refund, email:

Include:

  • Full name

  • Mobile number

  • Registered email

  • Payment receipt

  • Issue description

⏱ Deadline: Within 10 days of the issue


7. Processing Timeline

  • Processed within 15 business days

  • Refunded to original payment method

  • Delays due to banks/UPI are not our responsibility


8. Legal Jurisdiction

Governed by Indian law.

Disputes fall under courts in Madhya Pradesh, as per CPC Section 20.


9. Policy Updates

CODING WITH SAGAR reserves the right to update this policy anytime.

Latest version will always be available on the website.
